Mango is many things and their art flows through every aspect. A relentless fascination with the world and insatiable curiosity are channeled into meditations of the natural and whimsical.
Their path centers community living and caretaking; including partnering at a worker-owned cooperative (Just) where they develop medical devices and robotics, applying their PhD in neuroscience, and a homestead cooperative (Thinking Hands) where they teach permaculture, art, and making.

Emergent
Emergent Painting is a technique coined by Mango for his process of discovering and shaping images one stroke at a time. The hyper-present technique connects the artist with the observer, accepting being seen and what is created rather than anything preconceived.
