Self Soothe

The gestural texture is vivid and captivating, wrapping the figure as they cradle themselves. 

I adore studies of figure and form, likely no small inspiration for my doctoral work in biomedical engineering, and this is a rare black and white piece where I so much enjoyed the brush pen texture that no color was needed to further evoke the figure.
